Job Summary
Direct and control inbound and outbound loads and record accurate weights from scale information; prepare scale tickets with product/material name, driver’s name, and truck/trailer numbers; maintain logs of inbound/outbound traffic; inform drivers of next destination when dispatch isn’t available; communicate between production and drivers/deliveries; assist accounting with reports and adjustments tickets; enforce parking/delivery activities and housekeeping around the scales and scale house; participate in team development, communicate effectively, and support policy implementation; familiar with Simmons operating systems and maintain awareness of related quality/security expectations; use a computer to enter data and run reports; environment can be wet, cold/hot, with PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred experience with computers, spreadsheets, and email.
