Job Summary
Assemble exterior and interior parts for Mount Assembly, transport products to stocking locations, and package components for shipment. Operate power tools and basic hand tools in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Read manufacturing documentation and blueprints, measure with a tape and perform precise assembly. Maintain safe work practices with PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves); perform frequent lifting and carrying of parts up to 75 pounds, plus occasional forklift operation. Must be able to work both in a small group and independently to complete workload in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Overhead crane, forklift and material handling experience preferred
- Manufacturing assembly experience desired
- Good communication skills required
- Some blueprint reading skills preferred
- Ability to read manufacturing documentation
- Good math skills required
- Ability to efficiently read a tape measure
