Scaffolding Team Leader (Bridge Maintenance)

Job Summary
Lead scaffolding teams for bridge maintenance projects in the UAE; supervise erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding and temporary access systems in accordance with drawings/work plans; ensure HSE and height-safety compliance; conduct scaffold inspections, manage tagging, and authorize safe use; review risk assessments and JSAs; coordinate with engineers, site managers, and maintenance teams; monitor manpower, material usage, and progress; maintain scaffold inventory and incident records; conduct toolbox talks and mentor crews; requires minimum 5 years scaffolding experience with 2+ years in a team-leader role, plus experience in bridge maintenance and related civil projects; certification in scaffolding supervision is preferred, with UAE driving license considered an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of scaffolding experience with at least 2 years in a Team Leader or Supervisory role
- Experience in bridge maintenance, infrastructure, highways, or major civil engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding erection, inspection, dismantling, and safety requirements
- Ability to read scaffold drawings, access plans, and method statements
- Valid Scaffolding Supervisor certification or equivalent preferred
- Working at Height and Fall Protection training preferred
