Job Summary
Lead scaffold crews during scaffold and containment operations, planning, coordinating, supervising, inspecting, and removing environmental containment systems. Assign daily work tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer specifications. Conduct pre-job safety meetings, hazard assessments, and inspect scaffold materials and completed work while training and mentoring Apprentice and Journeyman Scaffolders. Coordinate work with other departments and contractors, complete daily reports, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of scaffold experience
- minimum 1 year leading scaffold crews
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong knowledge of scaffold construction and containment systems
- Ability to coordinate multiple work activities simultaneously
- Excellent safety record
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction
- Advanced knowledge of scaffold construction
- Advanced knowledge of environmental containment systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities
- Ability to resolve field problems efficiently
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safe work practices
