Job Summary
Scaffold Journeyman position for multiple Yates Industrial project locations requiring erection, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding per sketches, blueprints, and Yates standards. Primary duties include erecting/dismantling scaffolds, loading/unloading components, setting up hoisting equipment, using ropes, harnesses, or ladders to access sites, assembling scaffolding from parts, bolting/screwing sections, verifying alignment with plumb bob/level, cutting/drilling components for fit, selecting gear (cables, pulleys, winches) based on load and schedule, tearing down scaffolding, fabricating/repairing rigging, reading ISO/blueprints, and adhering to safety procedures and company values. Requires PPE, hazard reporting, participation in safety meetings, and the ability to perform duties across varying weather and elevations with physical endurance.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) + years of heavy industrial-related scaffold experience
- NCCER Scaffold journeyman certification Level II
- NCCER Performance Scaffold journeyman verification
- NCCER Scaffold journeyman verification Level I
- Read ISO's, Blueprints, P&IDs
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan, and perform work activities independently
- Successful completion of required Safety training to include Confined Space, LOTO, and Working at Heights
