Job Summary
Build and dismantle commercial scaffolds following blueprints and safety guidelines while ensuring the stability and integrity of structures for construction crews. Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest safety standards and perform equipment maintenance to keep tools in top shape. Collaborate with workers for efficient project completion, solve unexpected challenges, and maintain accurate records of work and inspections. This role requires a Scaffold Competent Person with at least four years of experience, including prior work on swing stages and supported scaffolds. You must be qualified to serve as a Scaffold Competent Person, possess strong leadership skills, and understand OSHA standards. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 6am-4pm, with OT available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of scaffolding experience
- Prior experience assembling and dismantling swing stage and supported scaffolds
- Qualified to serve as a Scaffold Competent Person
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Thorough understanding of OSHA scaffold standards and safety regulations
- Dependable, safety-focused, and committed to delivering quality work
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass an MVR check
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Background check
- Ability to travel and report to different job sites
- Own safety harness
- Own tools
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor, including frequent climbing, lifting, and maneuvering on ladders and stairways
- Must be able to work outdoors in changing weather and jobsite conditions
- Must be able to carry and transport two 50 lb. weights at the same time
- Must provide documentation establishing their identity and authorization to work in the United States
