Job Summary
Field-lead scaffolding operations to erect and dismantle scaffolding; supervise and direct a crew including up to ((3) Foreman 1) each possibly supervising up to ((3) Lead Carpenters); ensure compliance with OSHA and Sunbelt procedures; leverage project-management skills to manage time, schedule, costs, and customer communication; require knowledge of OSHA scaffolding rules and various scaffolding materials, with the physical ability to operate at height; valid driver’s license and optional bilingual ability; the role emphasizes leadership, safety, and hands-on coordination on construction sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Combined experience as Scaffold E&D Carpenter, Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter and Scaffold E&D Foreman 1 for a minimum of 5 years or approved equivalent experience
- Trade school preferred, but not required
- Valid driver’s license
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding
- Knowledge/Understanding of various types of scaffolding material and load capacities
- Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights
