Job Summary
Scaffold Builder Journeyman responsible for constructing, assembling, maintaining, and dismantling tubular scaffolding and temporary structures. Requires a minimum of 3 years in scaffolding, OSHA and site-specific compliance, and the ability to inspect materials, communicate safety hazards, and coordinate erection and dismantling of scaffolding in accordance with Austin Industrial requirements. Must be fluent in English, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and capable of supervising 1 to 5 scaffold builder helpers. Certification as a lubrication technician and TWIC card/State ID are required; the role is on-site in Lake Charles/Westlake, LA, with no visa sponsorship provided.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years minimum experience in scaffolding
- High School diploma with lubrication technician certification
- TWIC Card and Valid State ID
