Job Summary
SCADA Specialist to design, monitor, test, troubleshoot and maintain the OCC HMI and SCADA/sub systems. Develop and maintain OCC HMI software and interfaces, communicate with end-users for enhancements and issues, provide business analysis perspectives for proposed changes, monitor real-time data, ensure regulatory and company standard compliance, and apply GUI/UI design and automation concepts. Requires experience with SQL databases, Ignition Platform (Inductive Automation), Python/JSON, and strong communication; travel may be required (US and Europe). Fluency in English and ability to work with vendors/clients are expected.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience or technical training
- 1-2 years’ experience in the renewables market
- 3 years of Engineering, Operations, IT or other utility experience
- Knowledge of SCADA related NERC CIP requirements
- Experience working with SCADA or Automation systems preferred
- Proficiency with SQL databases
- Experience with Python and JSON
- Fluent English
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to be self-managing and work autonomously
