Job Summary
SCADA/OT Systems Technician I responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and installation of OT networking equipment and SCADA networks. Will design, configure, and secure OT LAN/WAN, manage patching and cybersecurity per standards, back-up strategy and disaster recovery planning, maintain network documentation and asset inventory, and support cybersecurity governance and incident response. Requires an associate degree or relevant IT certifications (CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Network+), strong network troubleshooting skills, ability to work with Windows OS servers and network devices, and effective communication and customer-service orientation. Roles include performing daily maintenance, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a water-utility environment (Aurora Water). Knowledge of OSI model, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF), and security frameworks; willingness to work in a physically on-site setting in Aurora, CO, with associated safety and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a directly related field OR CCNA, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+
- Valid Colorado driver’s license with safe driving record
