Job Summary
SCADA Engineer needed to support design, implementation, and configuration of offshore wind SCADA systems and communications, oversee SCADA contractor deliverables, ensure signal interfacing between wind turbines, monitoring systems, substations, and TPC, and lead commissioning and handover to operations. Responsibilities include cyber security standards application in SCADA/IT, GUI/HMI configuration, monitoring of time/cost/quality of SCADA package deliverables, participating in design reviews, FAT/SAT, testing and integration with other work packages, and providing technical input to contracts and vendors. Requires hands-on experience with WinCC, MODBUS, IEC61850, IT networks, firewalls, VPNs, and strong English (Chinese a plus), with 3+ years in production-facility SCADA deployments; offshore wind experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced SCADA engineer
- At least 3 years’ experience implementing SCADA systems for production facilities
- Experience with Siemens WinCC configuration, implementation and user interface
- Experience with MODBUS, IED, RTU, SNMP and IEC61850
- Knowledgeable in IT network infrastructure, firewalls, UTM, VPN
- Proficient English skills; Chinese skills are a plus
- Competent with Microsoft Office
- In depth knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations
- Wind power experience is a plus
