Job Summary
Mid-level SCADA & Automation Engineer in Data Centers. Responsible for engineering design, field work, and analysis under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. Set, test, wire, and install relaying and control systems (SEL equipment); program, install, and test SCADA and PLC systems (SEL RTACs); prepare specifications and reports; perform detailed electrical power system design (one-line/three-line diagrams, wiring, grounding); perform SCADA and relay field testing and commissioning; provide field troubleshooting for SCADA systems (SEL RTAC, Ignition, PLCs); review work for quality; travel 15-25% for field assignments; hybrid work with remote flexibility (Lakewood, CO or remote). Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, 2-5 years of experience, FE preferred, knowledge of IEC61850/DNP3/MODBUS, AutoCAD, and ability to obtain work authorization in the US. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
- 2 – 5 years of relevant engineering or field experience
- FE licensure preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience with configuring, testing, and commissioning IEC61850, DNP3, MODBUS, and/or other SCADA protocols
- Experience creating Network Architecture Diagrams
- Experience with substation or data center medium voltage equipment is a plus
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
