Job Summary
Perform repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations and solder work on electronic, mechanical assemblies, modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts, using hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed items, and perform quality inspections on the processing line. Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions. Requires ability to work 2nd shift, wear safety gear, and handle objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work 2nd shift as required
- Ability to wear safety gear, such as steel toed shoes and glasses
- Ability to handle and assemble small parts
- Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Relevant soldering, production, or assembly experience
