Job Summary
On-site and remote interpreter contractor roles in multiple languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Gujarati, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese) for real-time interpretation. Responsibilities include accurate spoken interpretation across on-site, video remote (VRI), and over-the-phone (OPI) formats; maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and interpreter ethics; manage a flexible schedule and accept appointments; proficiency with Google Meet/Microsoft Teams; punctual and professional service across locations in Columbia, SC, and other states for VRI/OPI opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Fully bilingual, fluent in English and the language being applied for
- Technologically proficient (familiar with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher)
- Clean driving record, valid driver’s insurance, and reliable transportation
