Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment like forklifts, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks to pick, move, and unload products weighing up to 100 lbs within the warehouse. Perform general cleaning, basic maintenance, and safety inspections inside and outside the facility. Confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies, and manually stack and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets. Match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips for returned goods. Ensure safe work practices and maintain a clean workspace while working in a fast-paced environment with seasonal temperature variations. Work Monday through Friday from 1:30pm to 10:00pm, with potential overtime required based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- An ability to be Material Handling Equipment Operator certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
- If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed
- An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
- Must wear safety composite shoes
- An ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
- You must be at least 18 years old
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker helpful
