Job Summary
Support patients within an assigned hospital unit by rendering professional nursing care, completing comprehensive clinical documentation, and ensuring safe handoffs through bedside shift reports and multidisciplinary rounds. Monitor and report unit-specific safety indicators such as CAUTI, CLABSI, and falls while actively participating in quality initiatives and daily safety huddles. Delegate care activities to other nursing personnel, collaborate with students and instructors, and serve as a preceptor for new nurses. Maintain current New Hampshire RN licensure and certifications, complete required dysrhythmia and CPI training, and avoid unauthorized overtime. Work nights within the Covenant Health Ministry framework, adhering to shared governance principles and performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Hampshire RN license
- Basic Life Support certification
- Graduate of an approved Nursing program
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Dysrhythmia preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation
