Job Summary
Support patients within an assigned unit by rendering professional nursing care, completing comprehensive clinical documentation, and participating in bedside shift reports and multidisciplinary rounds. Monitor patient safety indicators such as CAUTI, CLABSI, and falls, while actively engaging in quality initiatives and performance improvement to enhance outcomes. Delegate care to other nursing personnel, collaborate with students and instructors, and serve as a preceptor for new nurses. Maintain current licensure, complete required dysrhythmia and CPI training, and avoid unauthorized overtime. Adhere to Covenant Health's mission of healing and compassion while upholding shared governance principles and unit-specific competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Hampshire RN license
- Basic Life Support certification
- Graduate of an approved Nursing program
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Dysrhythmia preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation
