Job Summary
Process deposits, cash checks, and sell monetary instruments while verifying cash, endorsements, and providing receipts. Properly file government-mandated reports for large cash transactions and record sales of official bank checks. Actively engage in the sales process by identifying potential financial needs for customers and making referrals to platform staff. Perform basic administrative functions and prepare cash orders as directed. Work a flexible schedule including Saturdays, lift 50 pounds, and adhere to Needham Bank's core values.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the hours of operation of the Bank, including Saturday
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of keyboard and computer skills
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with the use of a calculator
- Must have basic business acumen and professionalism
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to new job locations and re-assignments as directed
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- High School Diploma or GED
- Up to one year of teller or cash handling experience with accurate balancing record
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience and/or sales experience preferred
