Job Summary
Source SBA loan origination with emphasis on client contact, origination, and analysis for typical amounts between $350K and $5MM. Review financial statements and supporting documents, structure SBA loan proposals, complete initial analysis, and prepare credit packages. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, agency guidelines, and organization policies. This role covers the gulf coast region of Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi, requiring the incumbent to be located near the coast in one of those states. The position is exempt from overtime pay and offers a flexible work arrangement combining in-office and remote options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experience
- A minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience
- Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- PC and internet proficiency
- Should be located in one of the following states near the coast: Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi
Desired Qualifications
- Business or Finance degree preferred
- SBA loan originating experience
- Familiarity with Commercial loan underwriting systems
