Job Summary
SBA Relationship Manager to drive the sales life cycle by generating leads and sourcing SBA loan opportunities. You will structure SBA loan proposals and prepare credit packages, build and maintain a robust referral network with commercial real estate brokers, business brokers, professional associations, accountants, lawyers, and more, and oversee the success and growth of the assigned sales territory. Responsibilities include lead generation, sourcing SBA loan opportunities, applying loan policies, product knowledge, financial analysis, and presenting credit packages. Travel to WSFS Bank’s locations to serve the existing SBA portfolio and ensure client satisfaction. Requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in financial services with SBA lending experience; strong communication, customer service, and business development skills; ability to travel across the bank’s footprint.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of financial services industry experience
- 5+ years of SBA lending experience (including 7(a) and 504 loans)
- 5+ years of experience selling business-related financial services products
- Knowledge of commercial and consumer loan and deposit products
- Superior customer service, sales, and business development skills
- Ability to travel to WSFS Bank’s various locations throughout our footprint
- Excellent oral and written communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Knowledge and understanding of underwriting and evaluation of commercial credit (preferred)
