Job Summary
Originate and manage SBA 7(a) loan opportunities in the Southern Idaho market, building and maintaining referral relationships with CPAs, attorneys, business brokers, and other centers of influence. Source new SBA loan opportunities, manage active pipelines, and collaborate with credit, underwriting, and closing teams to move deals to funding. Structure transactions in compliance with SBA SOP guidelines and internal credit standards. Represent the bank in market-facing activities and networking events. Meet or exceed annual production goals (target ~ $12MM per BDO; team ~ $30MM) and support growth within Idaho. Open to remote/work-from-home arrangements within the region; preferred location Boise metro or Southern Idaho. Requires experience originating SBA 7(a) loans, strong SBA credit knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a market-facing role.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience originating SBA 7(a) loans
- Ability to work independently in a market-facing role
- Strong referral network within Idaho or adjacent markets preferred
- Strong understanding of SBA credit structures, eligibility, and SOP requirements
- High integrity, strong reputation, and long-term relationship mindset
