Sawmill Quality Control Coordinator

Job Summary
Conduct daily Quality Control checks of Sawmill and Planer mill stations and perform package inspections to determine Gradex efficiency. Monitor production to ensure wood is correctly graded, sorted, and packaged, while keeping management informed of quality issues. Collaborate with Comact and AFPA grading inspectors to maintain the HT Manual and monitor dry kiln schedules. This role requires a Bachelor of Science in Wood Product Processing or equivalent experience, with a minimum of two years in the lumber processing industry. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the local community or live nearby.
