Job Summary
Lead the maintenance team by supervising millwrights and overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all sawmill machinery. Develop and implement strategies to increase plant reliability while managing budgets and forecasting needs. Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot complex equipment breakdowns, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Foster a collaborative environment focused on improvement and efficiency. Located in Molalla, OR, this full-time role includes 12-hour or 8-hour shifts with overtime pay.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Millwright with leadership responsibilities
- Deep understanding of industrial machinery and mechanical systems
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and understand financial impacts of maintenance activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent mechanical and technical proficiency
- A valid Millwright certification or equivalent professional qualification
