Saw Operator

Job Summary
Operate industrial saws (band and circular) to cut raw materials to precise dimensions per blueprints and work orders; adjust machine settings, blade speeds, and material feeds to ensure accurate cuts and minimize waste; measure and inspect finished parts with calipers and tape measures; load/unload materials and stage completed parts; identify defects and quality concerns; maintain production records and perform routine equipment maintenance; uphold safety and quality in a 1st shift production environment with a team-focused manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience operating industrial saws, CNC equipment, or automated cutting systems in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel is preferred
