Job Summary
Operate horizontal and vertical band saws, cold saws, or other industrial cutting equipment to cut fiberglass, steel, aluminum, and metal materials according to work orders and blueprints. Read measurements accurately using tape measures and calipers to verify precise dimensions, while loading and unloading raw materials with forklifts or overhead cranes. Perform routine equipment inspections, maintain accurate production records, and ensure all products meet quality standards. Keep the work area clean and safe by following all company policies and OSHA regulations. Assist with other warehouse or production duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating industrial saws in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable attendance
- Dependable work ethic
