Job Summary
Operate routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications to produce required part quantities within established tolerances. Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic standards, while maintaining logs of units produced. Inspect equipment prior to use for proper setup and alignment, performing basic adjustments and maintenance as needed. Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area following all safety regulations. This night shift role supports Greif's global packaging solutions for life's essentials.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma (or equivalent)
- up to 2 years of relevant experience
- Willingness to follow directions
- work well in a team
- Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries
- Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
