Job Summary
Setup and operate a single-blade saw by reading production schedules, identifying required materials, and ensuring grade, size, and moisture content meet specifications. Feed material according to established procedures, perform setups, and periodically check equipment to verify compliance. Offload and stack finished components, cover, label, and band as needed while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Complete pre-shift startup inspections, report issues, and perform preventive maintenance. Maintain production records, check materials and finished products for standards, and execute LOTO and safety programs as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma GED is preferred but not required
- Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment
- some experience in manufacturing and assembling is preferred
- Working knowledge of basic math preferred
