Job Summary
Operate large metal cutting equipment (saw) to cut parts per work orders, verify nesting program matches prints, ensure correct gas, speed, and consumables are used, stage finished jobs, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Must have manufacturing experience, be punctual/dependable, and able to stand for extended periods while working around noise, dust, odors, and chemicals. The role includes following PPE and safety procedures and participating in the facility’s benefits package and 401(k). Location: Walnut, Mississippi with on-site work requirements at Anchor Fabrication.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
- Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
- Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors and chemicals
