Job Summary
Saw Operator/General Assembler responsibilities include following job orders and blueprints to cut material with saw machines, selecting material to minimize waste, determining dimensions, blade type, tension, cutting speed, and stop positions, operating and adjusting machinery safely, continuously monitoring operation, accurately using a tape measurer, and recording inventory usage (material type, order number, customer number) in the computer system. The role requires good manual dexterity, attention to detail, ability to read work instructions in English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior machine operation experience in manufacturing or foam fabrication is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
