Job Summary
Operate bar saw machinery safely to ensure quality product while inspecting material before and after processing for imperfections. Load and unload product from the machinery, operate forklifts to relocate material, and inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy. Report product discrepancies to management and actively communicate with teammates to maintain a safe, organized working environment. Perform other assigned warehouse operations tasks as needed. This 1st shift role (6am-3pm) is fully on-site in Texas City, TX, with a starting pay of $19/hr. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to wear task-appropriate PPE
- Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- Standing, walking up to 10 hours
- Twisting, bending up to 10 hours
- Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings
- Ability to read a tape measure and calipers
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail (critical skill)
- Ability to communicate professionally with all departments, coworkers and management
- Ability to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary
- Ability to work occasional Saturday hours as required by the position
- Ability to work in warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
