Save the Children - After School Tutor-Classified

Conduct guided independent reading practice, daily read-alouds, and fluency-building activities during after school and summer programs. Collaborate with the Literacy Coordinator to plan age-appropriate activities, address individual children's needs, and implement solutions based on diagnostic reports. Administer pre and post STAR Reading tests for all in-school and after school program children. Assist with Accelerated Reader implementation, organize the AR library, and incorporate weekly planning time for programming preparation. Attend mandatory trainings on best practices for reading interventions.
