Save the Children - After School Tutor-Classified

Implement literacy blocks by planning activities aligned with children's reading levels and leading guided independent reading, daily read-alouds, and fluency-building sessions. Coordinate with the Literacy Coordinator to address individual student needs, review Accelerated Reader diagnostic reports, and organize the AR library. Administer pre and post STAR Reading tests for all students in in-school and after school programs. Complete weekly planning time and attend mandatory training on best practices for reading interventions.
