Job Summary
Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items including salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers by portioning, washing, peeling, slicing, and mixing vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients. Carve and slice meats and cheese, measure and mix ingredients to make salad dressings and sauces following recipes. Preps all food according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, and plate presentation standards while displaying proper food safety techniques, including hand washing, glove use, and knife skills. Maintain the highest degree of sanitation and cleanliness for prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving. Report to work on time, wear a uniform meeting restaurant requirements, and adhere to all safety guidelines throughout the shift.
