Job Summary
Conduct Saturday and Sunday pickup and delivery of packages from the Lenexa or Olathe Hub, managing your own route while maintaining time management and adhering to DOT regulations and safety measures. Drive a well-maintained company truck and distribute packages to various addresses, working independently without micromanagement. Deliver a wide variety of packages while ensuring reliable performance and positive customer interactions. This daytime shift allows you to be home for dinner, with opportunities to mature to a full-time position if desired.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid, non-expired Driver's License
- No CDL necessary
- FMCSA requires commercial drivers to read, speak, and understand English well enough to converse with the public, understand highway signs and signals, and respond to official inquiries, as per 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)
- No DUIs, no Felony convictions
- Pre-employment background check is required
- Pre-employment drug screen - (NO MJ, MJ prescriptions NOT allowed per DOT)
- Requires initiative with fast-moving feet, with safety as #1
- Daytime shift only
- Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, good communication, customer service, & decision-making skills
