Job Summary
Saturday/Sunday NOC LPN provides direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting and supervises nursing assistants. Responsibilities include administering medications, charting, coordinating with the Nurse Supervisor, reviewing resident care plans, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and participating in quality assurance and discharge planning. The role requires an active LPN license and experience in long-term care, with weekend availability and leadership of nursing staff during the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license
- Experience in long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants and direct day-to-day nursing activities
- Medication administration and charting proficiency
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards
- Ability to interpret physician orders and participate in care planning
