Job Summary
Provide care, support, and supervision to children and adults with developmental disabilities during Saturday recreation activities, including field trips, swimming, games, cooking, and arts and crafts. Assist participants with toileting, diaper changes, and lunch cleanup while maintaining clean program areas. Organize personal belongings, report unusual behaviors or incidents to the supervisor, and complete daily activity logs. Attend required training sessions covering MANDT, CPR, First Aid, and Med Class before the program begins. Maintain punctuality and a positive attitude throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- Saturday schedule (9:00 AM–4:00 PM)
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class E Chauffeur's License
- Minimum required liability insurance
- Ambulatory status
- Ability to lift, carry, and run
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class E Chauffeur's License
- Ability to possess minimum allowed liability insurance
- Ability to maintain attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work varied and flexible hours
- Ability to accept and adapt to changes in assignments, methods, policies, etc.
