Job Summary
Conduct individualized speech therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and sensory processing disorder using evidence-based approaches like the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach and Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Collaborate with occupational and physical therapists to address feeding, swallowing, and language needs while documenting progress and communicating with families. Work Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:30pm at Eyas Landing in Chicago, IL, committing to a 3-, 4-, or 5-month period with a competitive hourly rate of $35-40.
Required Qualifications
- Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Saturday availability

- Work with neurodiverse needs
- Provide speech therapy
- Foster receptive language
- Foster expressive language

- Implement Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding
- Implement Get Permission Approach
- Implement Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Implement Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)
- Collaborate with occupational therapists
- Collaborate with physical therapists
- Collaborate with social workers
- Document progress
- Communicate with families
- Commit to 3, 4 or 5-month period
