Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy to children and families in the clinic, schools, and homes, focusing on individuals with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and sensory processing needs. Implement client-centered approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Intentional Relationship Model, and reflex integration to foster sensory processing, motor coordination, and independence. Collaborate daily with physical and speech therapists and social workers while documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care. Work Saturdays 9:00am-2:30pm from August to October in Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Saturday-only Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Occupational therapy to children and families
- Work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Work with individuals with ADHD
- Work with individuals with sensory processing disorder
- Work with neurodiverse needs
- Foster sensory processing and integration
- Foster motor coordination
- Foster fine motor development
