Job Summary
Operate Satellite Communications primary and remote terminals/nodes and perform line-ready unit maintenance actions on equipment and antennae groups. Execute regularly scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, manage user accounts including password resets, and oversee cryptographic audit log management as the Communications Security Officer. Ensure Two-Person Integrity is maintained 24/7 while supporting North American Aerospace Defense Command operations for threat warnings and orbital conflict mitigation. Work onsite at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, Colorado, on a modified Panama schedule covering nights, weekends, and holidays with up to 10% travel required. Required Qualifications
- Top-secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Security+ CE Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months or more of directly related experience
- 1 year or more of general work experience
- Shift work availability to support 24x7 operations
- Availability to work any shift/designated hours required including nights, weekends, and holidays on a modified Panama schedule
- US Department of Defense security clearance eligibility (implied by Top Secret requirement)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Military Satellite Communications Systems Operations and Maintenance experience
- Experience Operating the Family of Advanced Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals
- Experience in performing maintenance tasks associated Satellite Communications Systems
- Experience with system administration functions for creating, maintaining, managing, and troubleshooting user accounts, including password resets
- Experience performing duties of the Communications Security Officer, which include CRK and cryptographic audit log management
