Job Summary
Satellite Systems Engineer responsible for technical oversight and SETA support for spacecraft development, integration, testing, and mission execution. Collaborates with Government leadership, mission partners, and contractor teams to ensure successful delivery of national security space capabilities throughout the acquisition lifecycle. Responsibilities include participating in design reviews and program milestones, evaluating risks and providing recommendations, supporting system integration, verification and validation, ensuring mission readiness, reviewing requirements and technical baselines, and developing briefings and decision-support materials for senior stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, 5+ years of space systems experience, strong systems engineering fundamentals, familiarity with DOORS or similar tools, and active TS/SCI clearance (polygraph preferred). U.S. Citizenship is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting satellite, spacecraft, or space systems programs
- Experience applying systems engineering principles throughout the system development lifecycle
- Knowledge of requirements development, requirements management, and technical baseline management
- Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems, system integration, testing, and mission operations
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
- Active TS/SCI clearance required; Polygraph preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required
