Job Summary
Process transactions, answer member questions, and resolve account issues of moderate complexity. Open consumer deposit accounts and certificates of deposit, read and review credit reports, and process loan applications. Provide notary and safe deposit box services, assist with fraud disputes, and host tables at community events. Connect members with internal business partners to solve problems and refer them to appropriate financial solutions. Adhere to strict compliance with laws including the Bank Secrecy Act and Fair Lending regulations. Complete required regulatory training and manage lobby systems while maintaining professional appearance in this public contact role.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service and working in a team environment
- Consultative sales experience
- Ability and desire to gain knowledge and skills in all personal banking areas including but not limited to Total Member Experience (TME), performing the ADAPT model, UFCU products and services
- Exceptional Member service provider
- Strong understanding and ability to communicate the UFCU Way
- Strong ability to understand and adhere to financial institution compliance requirements
- Extensive understanding of Credit Union products and services
- Ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently
- Ability to read, analyze and explain credit reports
- Basic knowledge of mortgage process
- Ability to manage lobby management software
- Ability to research and identify resources leading to Member success stories

- This position has direct exposure to possible robbery
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual English/second language
- Financial institution experience
