Job Summary
Lead system-level testing, validation, and verification for satellite and payload communication systems by developing test strategies and executing procedures across LEO, MEO, and GEO programs. Analyze performance data to troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission readiness. Support flight software integration, database validation, and operational testing, utilizing Python or other scripting languages to develop automation tools that improve efficiency. Prepare technical documentation and engineering recommendations throughout the project lifecycle. Full-time role with immediate start; on-site preferred with hybrid/remote options requiring one week monthly in Montreal. Relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain or hold Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.

- Candidates working remotely or in a hybrid capacity must be willing to travel and work on-site in Montreal for at least one week per month.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in digital communications within the space industry.
- Experience with LEO, MEO, and/or GEO satellite communication systems.
- Strong understanding of Phased Array Antenna systems with multiple active elements.
- Strong understanding of Digital modulation techniques, signal processing, and networking.
- Strong understanding of Space and ground segment architecture, specification, and integration.
- Strong understanding of Flight Software and Satellite Database concepts.
- Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading system integration, verification, and validation activities for satellite or payload systems.
- Experience supporting satellite communications, payload development, or mission operations.
- Knowledge of automated test frameworks and systems engineering best practices.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
