SATCOM Ground Segment System Engineer (m/w/x)

Job Summary
Define technical solution strategies and drive the continuous development of existing SATCOM products, specifically Ku-band amplifiers, while integrating them into systems. Support sales regarding technical specifications during bids and accompany customer acceptances from a technical perspective. Analyze new topics in SATCOM ground stations, create concepts and specifications, and act as the central interface between development, project management, and other stakeholders. Plan and coordinate system integration, verification, testing, and commissioning to ensure product maturity. Assist in market and supplier research for selecting suitable external products. This role contributes to a team working on future technologies within the communications industry, offering a collegial atmosphere and flexible working hours.
Required Qualifications
- abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik, Nachrichtentechnik oder Kommunikationstechnik oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung mit einschlägiger Berufserfahrung
- Erfahrung in der Konzeption, Spezifikation und Entwicklung komplexer elektronischer bzw. Mikrowellen-basierter Systeme
- einschlägige Erfahrung in Konzeption und Spezifikation von SATCOM Systemen (z. B. Ku Band, Ka Band) und mit System-Engineering im Allgemeinen
- Fundierte Kenntnisse der HF- bzw. Mikrowellentechnik und von Kommunikationssystemen im Allgemeinen
Desired Qualifications
- Grundlegende Kenntnisse IP-basierter Systeme, von digitaler Signalverarbeitung und von Redundanzkonzepten
