Job Summary
Provide high-quality, part-time instruction to students following C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. This role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student academic growth and development. Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning goals; assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians; maintain accurate student records and documentation; collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment; communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns; participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices; adherent to policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned. Schedule is after school hours (Mon–Thu 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., Sat 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; locations vary). Part-time role with benefits including 401(k) match, PerkSpot discounts, and referral program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a relevant subject area
- Experience developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Experience using technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software
- Demonstrated commitment to student success
- Ability to work effectively in a part-time capacity
