Job Summary

SASE & Security Presales Specialist (Remote/Teleworker) role focusing on designing, positioning, and demonstrating secure networking architectures built on HPE Aruba Networking SASE across the Eastern United States. Responsibilities include leading technical discovery with customers, designing scalable SASE/Zero Trust architectures (secure SD-WAN, SSE, identity-based access, and firewall technologies), delivering high-impact product demonstrations and POCs, coordinating with account managers and partners, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and traveling within the Eastern U.S. to support customer meetings and events. Requires 5+ years in technical presales or related roles in networking/security/cloud, hands-on SASE/SSE/Zero Trust/SD-WAN experience, knowledge of firewalls, IPsec, SSL-VPN, IDS/IPS, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, BGP, OSPF, SSO/SAML/OAuth/OIDC/RBAC, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, or Security+ are preferred. The role offers competitive compensation, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities to influence security solutions across a growing portfolio; travel is involved within the Eastern U.S. and broader travel as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical presales, sales engineering, or solution architecture roles within networking, security, or cloud domains
  • Hands-on experience with SASE, SSE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, or cloud-delivered security architectures
  • Strong understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, IPsec, SSL-VPN, IDS/IPS, and traffic inspection
  • Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, BGP, OSPF
  • Familiarity with identity and access concepts including SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and RBAC
  • Working knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud)
  • Comfortable delivering live demos, whiteboarding architectures, and running customer POCs
  • Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts into business value
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented sales environment
