SAS Developer with an administrative background to support both development and platform management activities. Key tasks include administering SAS environments (SAS 9.x / Viya), building and maintaining ETL processes with SAS and SQL, tuning performance on Linux/Unix, and collaborating with databases (DB2, Teradata, BigQuery) while enabling automation andDevOps practices. Preferred qualifications include exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and open-source tools (Python, Spark, Hadoop). The base compensation range is 90,786–106,842 in the posting location, with potential for eligible additional compensation and a broad benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- SAS Development (Base & Advanced SAS, Macros)
- SAS Administration (SAS 9.x / Viya)
- Hands-on with SAS DI, SAS Enterprise Guide
- Strong SQL and database experience
- Linux/Unix and shell scripting
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Base/Advanced SAS, SAS DI, and SQL
- Administer and support SAS environments (installation, upgrades, patching)
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SAS applications on Linux/Unix
- Support migration of SAS workloads to cloud or open-source platforms
- Work with databases (DB2, Teradata, BigQuery) and optimize SQL queries
- Create automation scripts for operational efficiency
