SAP Technical Consultant II (Alabang)

Job Summary
Own end-to-end responsibility for the SAP system lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, implementation, technical operations, maintenance, change management, and decommissioning. Perform and oversee regular system operations, including logfile analysis, system health checks, and performance monitoring, while leading patching, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery testing. Ensure full compliance with BI standards, IT governance, SOPs, and GxP requirements by managing compliance documentation, validation, and audit readiness. Maintain accurate system architecture documentation, manage technical accounts and security policies, and coordinate system-related activities across IT and support teams. Act as the primary technical contact for the assigned system, providing guidance and expertise to stakeholders and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a System Lead or in a comparable role
- SAP Basis skills
- hands-on experience with System installation, configuration, and maintenance
- User and security administration
- Performance monitoring, logfile analysis, and system health checks
- Backup and recovery coordination
- Patch management and vulnerability remediation
- Understanding of SAP ERP systems and application lifecycle management
- Proven ability to own the end-to-end system lifecycle, not just coordinate tasks
- Proactive approach to system operations—anticipating issues, driving improvements, and ensuring compliance without being told
- Experience in GxP-regulated environments and understanding of compliance requirements
- Strong experience with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
- Excellent documentation skills (SLC documentation, runbooks, user manuals)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Structured, detail-oriented, and compliance-focused working style
- Ability to manage complex systems in regulated environments
