Job Summary
Establish and maintain a robust End-to-End governance framework for Source to Pay master data, ensuring consistency across all business units and regions. Define and communicate a clear vision for enterprise master data governance while partnering with the central Master Data Governance Team to align strategies with broader enterprise goals. Lead the STP Data Migration strategy as a critical-path activity for transitioning from legacy ERPs to a global S/4HANA instance, overseeing the entire data lifecycle including creation, maintenance, and archiving. Define global data quality standards, validation rules, and KPIs to monitor data health, and design a technology roadmap for MDM within STP. Act as the business owner for master data management tools, ensuring compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements such as GDPR. Create targeted training programs to build capability and drive user adoption of governance processes.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Master Data Management with significant exposure to Procurement/STP processes
- Deep expertise in Vendor Master Data and Procured Material Master Data
- Proven expertise in data migration and system integration strategies, specifically consolidating legacy ERPs into a single S/4HANA instance
- Strong understanding of MDM principles, data governance frameworks, and data quality management
- Knowledge of data compliance and regulatory requirements related to STP data, such as GDPR
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to drive consensus in a global, matrixed organization
- Willingness to travel for business purposes occasionally (up to 20%)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and their relationship to master data (invoice processing and payment execution)
- Functional knowledge of SAP Procurement systems
- SAP S/4HANA procurement module awareness
- Ability to utilize data analytics and reporting tools to measure and improve process performance
