Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements to support business operations and system functionality. Perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging of ABAP code to ensure system stability, while configuring and customizing SAP modules to optimize processes. Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications, and integrate SAP systems with third-party applications. Modernize User Interfaces by designing Fiori applications and enhancing standard applications using the enhancement framework, alongside designing OData services. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and mentor junior developers on ABAP, S/4, and other SAP technologies. Provide technical support to end-users and participate in project planning to ensure successful delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as an ABAP Developer, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing ABAP solutions within SAP environments
- Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects and other modern SAP technologies
- Experience with SAP Fiori or other web User Interface technologies
- SAP UI5 related technologies and development tools
- RESTful APIs (e.g.: OData) and SAP Gateway
- Strong SAP S/4 HANA experience
- Extensive knowledge of SAP ABAP programming language, including ABAP Objects, BAPIs, User Exits, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks
- Strong experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, QM
- Proficiency in SAP development tools, including ABAP Workbench, Eclipse, and SAP GUI
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, OData services, iDoc, EDI, and other SAP technologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to debug and troubleshoot complex performance issues
- Leadership and supervisory, managing people
Desired Qualifications
- SAP certification(s) in ABAP development is desirable
