Job Summary
SAP Security Specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and governing SAP security across S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Fiori, and related cloud platforms. Lead access provisioning and lifecycle management using SAP IAS/IPS, design and maintain SAP roles/authorisations, drive SoD governance and audit remediation, support incident and security management, and provide security architecture guidance. Will oversee transition to SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG) and collaborate with business, Basis, architecture, and audit teams to ensure secure, compliant SAP solutions across hybrid environments (including BTP, SAC, Datasphere, BW). Requires strong experience in SAP security, GRC/IAG, IAS/IPS, SAML/SSO, and hybrid/cloud deployments, with excellent stakeholder communication and strategic security leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in SAP Security and Authorisations (role design, access management, security architecture)
- Hands-on expertise across SAP S/4HANA Security and SAP Fiori security components (catalogues, groups, tiles, OData services)
- Strong knowledge of SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG)
- Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS, IPS, SAML, SSO, federation, enterprise identity integrations)
- Knowledge of SAP BTP security concepts, including entitlements and authentication models
- Experience securing hybrid SAP landscapes and cloud-based solutions with governance and compliance controls
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to translate security concepts to business risk outcomes
- Ability to influence security architecture decisions and provide strategic security leadership across project and BAU environments
- Relevant SAP certifications and experience in regulated/audit-intensive environments will be highly regarded
